About Addition+

We are a dynamic and growing Mechanical Sub-Contractor seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join our team.

About the Role

As an M&E Estimator, you will be part of a skilled estimating team, preparing mechanical estimates ranging in value from £100,000 to £5 million. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing tenders to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reviewing project drawings and specifications to assess overall costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Securing competitive and accurate quotations from mechanical specialists, building strong relationships with suppliers
  • Collaborating with the estimating team and project managers to meet project requirements, ensuring seamless communication
  • Completing estimates using electronic packages, staying up-to-date with industry software

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a strong analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proficient in IT and comfortable using various software, with experience in estimating software
  • A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, with a keen eye for detail
