Starbucks Shift Supervisor Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our EG Group team at our Starbucks store in Burford. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of baristas and store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas and store staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
