Head Waiter/supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head waiter to join our team at our busy pub operation. As the Head waiter, you will be responsible for overseeing the dining experience, ensuring excellent guest service, and coordinating with the kitchen staff. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or special requests
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Train and supervise servers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and maintain high standards of service
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up tables, refilling condiments, and clearing dishes
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Culinary background or knowledge is a must

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
