Job Summary:

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Permit Officer to join our team in Essex. As a Permit Officer - Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation and management of the Permit Scheme for Roadworks and Streetworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all permits are reviewed, coordinated, and managed accurately and efficiently to minimize disruption to highway users.
  • To assist in the implementation of the Statutory Guidance and National Conditions for Permit Schemes, New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) 1991 and Traffic Management Act (TMA) 2004.
  • To work closely with stakeholders to ensure the safe and expeditious movement of traffic, including pedestrians.

About You:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with previous experience in Permitting. As a Permit Officer - Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing permits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimizing disruptions to highway users.

Requirements:
