ROLE - Quality Assurance Specialist
LOCATION – Hamilton, Scotland
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £35,000- £45,000 per annum dependant on experience
Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our client's team on a permanent basis.
The Quality Assurance Specialist will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Have industry experience working within a similar quality assurance role within another manufacturing environment
- Experience of working in an ISO9001 or ISO14001 or IAT16949 environment
- Good knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma etc.
- Experience working with customers & suppliers
The Quality Assurance Specialist role will involve:
- Working full time onsite as part of the engineering team
- Ensuring all products and services meet ISO90001 standards
- Conducting quality audits
- Implementing any process improvements that are identified
- Working as part of a cross-functional team
- Supporting overall continuous improvement activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals
- Provide training and support to colleagues on quality assurance procedures
Requirements:
