Job Details:

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and specifying mechanical services for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare outline briefs and performance specifications for planned maintenance and lifecycle works packages.
  • Act as the design authority on projects, promoting design excellence.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, derogations from employers' requirements, and value engineering reviews of external consultants' designs.
  • Lead on decarbonisation strategies and deliver sustainable solutions that contribute to the Net Zero roadmap.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Design Engineer – Chartered/MCIBSE status or working towards.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering design within the building services industry.
  • Experience creating outline briefs, scope of works, and performance specifications for planned maintenance and lifecycle works packages.
  • Experience working with digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit.
  • Familiarity with BIM environments and experience delivering projects in such environments.

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared. Only British Citizens or dual nationals with British Citizenship are eligible for this role.
