Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Property Services at RGH-Global Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage property development and housing services within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage property development and housing services to ensure they are delivered to a high standard of quality and comply with legislative and contractual standards.
  • Review, manage, and negotiate housing agreements to provide best value to the organization and its beneficiaries.
  • Identify and secure new properties to support future activities.
  • Lead a customer-focused team to ensure services meet customer expectations, statutory obligations, and provide value for money.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Group Director for Property and Housing.
  • Membership of Strategic Support Team, overseeing and facilitating delivery of Operational Plan.
  • Identify and source new properties to support organization strategy.
  • Establish positive productive relationships with property partners.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage property agreements (including leases and management agreements).
  • Oversee assessment of property costs for annual budget and rent setting processes.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of Housing Services against the Operational Plan.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Chartered Institute of Housing qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a Care/Housing organization.
  • Minimum two years' experience operating as a senior manager providing supported living services.
  • Excellent knowledge of Housing Management & Development and ability to put knowledge into practice in an operational context.
  • Experience in undertaking property audits and inspections.
  • Detailed knowledge of Housing management systems.
  • Experience in rent setting policy and process across a multi-site organization.
  • Experience of Housing and Property Development, including an understanding of the requirements of people with learning disabilities and autism in relation to property design and configuration.
  • Experience of developing successful partnership agreements/leases with property partners.
  • Experience of working with local authorities/NHS/CQC in property development, and understanding of their requirements.
