Linkster Recruitment is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in Foston Dove Valley Park. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct testing and analysis of products to meet customer and industry standards.
- Monitor packaging adherence to specifications and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform calibration audits and conduct sensory analyses on finished products.
- Place non-conforming products on hold as needed and conduct environmental and effluent analysis.
- Uphold impeccable hygiene standards across all production areas and collect microbiological samples.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-speed manufacturing environment in the food or beverage laboratory sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the capability to work autonomously.
- A keen attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary package totalling £32, comprising a basic salary of £27,378 p/a and a shift allowance of £5.
- Rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday.
- On-site parking and access to excellent facilities and opportunities for further professional development.
- Direct employment with the company, no agency involvement.
