The successful candidate will join a high-performing and award-winning finance function, reporting into the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and working closely with the Finance Director.
The Financial Planning and Analysis Business Partner will play a key role in helping the FP&A team meet the forecasting and analysis needs for key stakeholders within the finance team and the wider business. Our client has a strong presence in the UK and a global reach, with revenues in excess of £500m and recent results outstanding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the FP&A Manager on short and medium-term forecasting for UK and overseas entities.
- Act as a Business Partner and provide analysis to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of the newly implemented FP&A software within the finance team.
- Create, develop, and enhance performance dashboards in FP&A software focusing on key financial metrics of the business.
- Support the FP&A Manager and Head of Finance in the production and understanding of Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Analysis of results to gain a full understanding of costs, variances against budgets, and previous forecasts.
- Explain variances and trends to key stakeholders for the business.
- Support the FP&A Manager and wider business with any ad-hoc analysis requests.
Key Requirements:
- Recognised accounting qualification or working towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Forecasting and Business Partnering experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation.
