About the Role:
This part-time, permanent role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with staff, leadership, and external HR consultants. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a robust and people-focused HR function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Employee Relations Support: You will work closely with staff and management to resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Managing Absence Effectively: You will be responsible for managing employee absences, including monitoring attendance, investigating absences, and implementing return-to-work plans.
- Assisting Managers with HR Queries: You will provide HR support to managers, including answering HR-related questions, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Handling Recruitment Administration: You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Overseeing Onboarding and Payroll Administration: You will work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees, and will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding process for new employees.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about delivering excellent HR service. You will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, and will be able to communicate effectively with staff and management. You will also have experience in working directly with non-HR staff and managers, and will be able to provide guidance and support on HR-related matters.
