Key Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and efficiency of equipment and machinery within a food manufacturing facility.

This includes conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for utilizing maintenance management systems to document work orders, track repairs, and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.

  1. Maintenance and Repair:
  2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including production lines, packaging machines, conveyors, motors, pumps, and other machinery.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  4. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely manner to ensure optimal functioning and efficiency of equipment.
