Job Title: Operations Supervisor

Company: Integrations Team Test

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating duties to enable staff to perform to their optimum capability, creating an open culture of trust and honesty, and ensuring adequate recording of absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate duties to enable all staff to have the necessary training and development to perform to their optimum capability.
  • Create an open culture of trust and honesty, inspiring and motivating employees to be proud to work for Integrations Team Test.
  • Ensure adequate recording of absence and that drivers adhere to policy and procedures.
  • Respond to customers in a positive, understanding, and friendly manner, providing as much information as possible to answer customer enquiries.
  • Ensure complaints are answered in a timely manner and fully investigated with appropriate actions taken to prevent a reoccurrence.
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operational systems, ensuring drivers report for work on time and are fully briefed on the latest communications.
  • Ensure drivers present themselves for duty wearing the correct uniform in the correct manner.
  • Ensure all duties are fully staffed, accurately record lost mileage on service disruptions, and liaise with the Engineering Dept to ensure vehicle availability.
  • Monitor quality standards as defined by Integrations Team Test KPIs and local business objectives.
  • Communicate with Trade Union reps, with a view to achieving a positive working relationship based on mutual honesty and trust.
  • Participate in and encourage the engagement of drivers in Operational Excellence, building their own awareness and capabilities in the tools and techniques.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. They will also have a strong understanding of operational systems and procedures, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team.
