Culinary Expert Seeking Collaborative Kitchen Environment

Aramark is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Northwood HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary expert who is passionate about delivering exceptional food experiences.
About the Role
This permanent, full-time position involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts for functions or special occasions. As a member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food hygiene, service, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain food hygiene, service, and presentation to a high standard
- Support the head chef in managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including managing wastage and paperwork
- Deliver private and official functions
- Share input to develop menus for private functions
- Follow recipes and prepare food for service
- Deliver first-class food throughout service
- Contribute to the checking, probing, and signing of all food deliveries to ensure only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the unit
- Assist the Head Chef in evaluating the training needs of the kitchen staff
- Participate in cleaning and hygiene duties
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK and residency for the past 5 years
- Previous experience at sous level
- Relevant culinary qualification
- DBS check required
