Medical Administrator Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Supervisor to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time position working from Monday to Friday, within the core hours of 08:00 - 17:00 (7.5 hours per day). As a Team Lead for Medical Support Services, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial and administration support to the Plastic Surgery department.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional communication, organisational and supervisory skills
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering an effective and efficient service
- Deputise for the Admin Manager in their absence and undertake aspects of line management for junior admin support
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills through various training programs offered by the Trust. These include the New and Aspiring Leaders Programme and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme. You will also be expected to attend specific training sessions such as Leading Your Team to Success, Service Improvement for Beginners and Developing Your Service Improvement Skills.
Requirements:- GCSE in Maths and English or Functional Skills, Level 2
- NVQ3 level Secretarial or Business Administrative qualification or equivalent level of demonstrable experience
- Medical Terminology Qualification Level 2 or equivalent level or short courses or equivalent demonstrable working experience
- Customer care qualification, Level 2 or short courses or equivalent demonstrable working experience in accordance with the Trust's Medical Secretarial Development Framework
