Information Security Governance Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team at Head Resourcing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, development, and execution of security-related activities, including compliance with policies and standards, monitoring, risk and threat assessment, and business continuity and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of information security analysts and ensure compliance with security policies and frameworks.
- Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and threats.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure effective security measures are in place.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security tools and technologies, including Microsoft Purview and data loss prevention platforms.
- Contribute to disaster recovery plans and contingency planning in the event of a security breach.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 days on-site work in Glasgow.
- Strong background in information security and leadership experience.
- Knowledge of security policies and frameworks, including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001/22301, and NIST.
- Ability to research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats.
