Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools based in the Sutton Coldfield area. The role involves day-to-day work based on your availability, supervising classrooms in the absence of their teacher, and engaging students to complete work set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a classroom in the absence of their teacher
  • Engage, motivate, and encourage students to complete work set
  • Ensure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
  • Manage classroom behaviour

Requirements:

  • Previous teaching experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
  • Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding Training
