About the Role:

This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team working towards improving the mental wellbeing of young people. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our Young Mental Health Champions (YMHC) programme.

Our YMHC programme is designed to empower 13–18-year-olds to tackle mental health challenges, improve wellbeing, and create change within their communities. As YMHC Project Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the programme's direction and ensuring its continued success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Developing and implementing the programme's strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational goals and objectives. ">
  • Leading a team of Youth Mental Health Champions, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their potential. ">
  • Collaborating with schools, colleges, and community organisations to establish and maintain effective partnerships. ">
  • Evaluating programme impact, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance its effectiveness. ">
  • Securing funding and resources to sustain the programme's growth and development.">

About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in youth work, education, or a related field, along with excellent leadership and project management skills. Experience of working with young people, developing and delivering training programmes, and building relationships with stakeholders is essential.
