Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at our EBD residential home in Knowsley, Liverpool. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our staff, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care and support to our young people.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality residential care, education, and other wrap-around services to our young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, ensuring that their safety and well-being are at the forefront of every decision.
  • Work closely with our external contacts, including Ofsted and other regulatory bodies, to ensure that we meet all relevant standards and expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of our care and education policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring that they are aligned with our values and vision.
  • Collaborate with our staff to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance the quality of our care and support services.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
  • A full, UK driving licence.
  • A thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation, and Quality Standards.
