Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Team Lead to oversee a small team of Legal Administrators, ensuring effective collaboration, task performance, and professional development. The ideal candidate will have legal paralegal experience, with some experience in supervising or training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Line management of up to 10 Legal Administrators, including performance management, career development, discipline, and welfare support.
  2. Active management of work levels, quality, and resources.
  3. Monitoring and supervising the quality and completion of tasks.
  4. Supporting the Operations Manager in developing talent within the team by identifying individual potential.
  5. Supporting team members in achieving agreed objectives through delegation, coaching, mentoring, and training.
  6. Supporting the Operations Manager with the training and induction of new starters.
  7. Ownership of knowledge management and query log, escalating any queries requiring further review.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

Legal experience preferred.Experience with Legal or banking case management systems (not essential).Experience working in a paralegal role, ideally in real estate or conveyancing or a litigation department (not essential).
