About the Job

Pride Health and Social Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Team Leader to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled individual to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering Complex Care: Provide hands-on, specialist care to service users, including tracheostomy care, ventilator support, PEG feeding, catheter care, and medication management.
  2. Leading Shifts: Lead by example, provide guidance and support to the care team, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with service users' care plans, company policies, and CIW standards.
  3. Team Development and Training: Serve as a key point of support for junior healthcare assistants, facilitating their training in complex medical procedures and boosting their confidence in delivering care.
Benefits and Salary:

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of up to £14.00 per hour, benefits package, and casual dress policy.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  1. Previous Complex Care Experience.
  2. Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable, but not essential. Commitment to developing leadership skills is required.
  3. Skills and Qualifications:
  4. Be enrolled or keen to be enrolled onto a NVQ Level 3.
  5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively guide and mentor junior staff.
  6. A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (CIW, safeguarding, health and safety).

This role involves working variable shifts, including 10 hour shifts, 12 hour shifts, and 8 hour shifts, across day and night shifts.
