About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Arrears Specialist to join our team at Pepper Advantage, a leading loan servicing company in the UK. As an Arrears Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities and providing exceptional customer service to customers experiencing payment difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities
- Regular communication with customers who are experiencing payment difficulties
- Discuss and negotiate arrears workout options
- Monitor agreed workout strategies and take further action when necessary
- Analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions
Requirements
- Recent experience in a Collections role
- Experience in dealing with customers experiencing financial difficulties
- Prior exposure to operational loans, preferably in a mortgage context
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Great attention to detail
- Understanding of Consumer Duty
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
