Scrum Master - Agile Project Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team at Jumar Solutions. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in facilitating Agile project delivery, ensuring the smooth operation of Scrum events, and coaching team members on Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead and facilitate Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and project progress.
  • Coach Team Members: Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and ensuring the team can deliver projects efficiently.
  • Manage Project Backlogs: Collaborate with Product Owners to manage project backlogs, assist in sprint planning, and ensure the team has a clear understanding of project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with project progress.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master in government or public sector projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • SC Clearance: Possess SC Clearance and experience working on high-sensitivity projects within government.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, including experience dealing with ministers and high-level government officials.
  • Certified Scrum Master: Hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
