About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at CHEC. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality hearing care to adults of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments of adults, including audiometry, tympanometry, and acoustic reflex testing.
  • Undertake hearing aid assessments, fittings, and validations, ensuring optimal hearing outcomes for patients.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting effective communication and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology, attending regular training and update meetings to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • Audiology or related degree, with registration with the RCCP.
  • Minimum one year's experience in audiology, preferably in an NHS setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computerized patient management systems and digital hearing aid fitting.
