Ward Host/Hostess Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Patient Dining team as a Ward Host/Hostess. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a warm and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide menus and take orders from patients, addressing dietary and allergen queries.
  • Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Clear ward areas and wash dishes, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, prioritizing patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of food and hygiene standards.
  • Passion for patient care, with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
  • Confidence in working in a hospital environment, with sensitivity towards patients' needs.
  • Will to learn and take pride in delivering excellent patient care.
