Paraplanner/Financial Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner/Financial Planner to join our team at Blakemore Recruitment. As a key member of our wealth management firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial advisers in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive paperwork, including research and liaison with providers, for initial meetings, recommendation meetings, and review meetings on behalf of the relevant financial adviser.
  • Produce Suitability Letters in a timely manner, as requested by the relevant financial adviser.
  • Engage in direct communication with clients, verbally, in writing, and sometimes face-to-face.
  • Ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date and accurate, checking client files regularly.
  • Liaise with the administration team to process new business, providing clear instructions and checking progress of cases.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 4 Diploma qualification (or be actively working towards it) with at least 2 years of paraplanning experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent client communication skills and the ability to identify opportunities to enhance the client's financial wellbeing.
  • Have experience using MS Office, Intelligent Office, and research tools such as O&M and Dynamic Planner. Cash Flow modelling tools are an advantage.
  • Exhibit a positive 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Display excellent time management and organisational skills, with a high standard of attention to detail.
