Job Title: Senior Counsel, Technology, Adtech

Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel, Technology, Adtech to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide senior-level legal support to our Tech & Digital, Workspace, and Data teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on technology and AdTech contracts, including software licensing, applications development, and systems integration.
  • Advise on data protection and consumer protection issues related to digital advertising business, including use of cookies and cookie alternatives, programmatic technologies, and data matching.
  • Support the development of solutions to complex legal issues and contribute to evaluations of new products and features for compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with the Data Privacy team to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training to the business on technology and digital legal matters.
Requirements:
  • Qualified legal practitioner admitted to practice law in England and Wales with a current practising certificate or a qualified foreign lawyer who can be admitted to practice in England and Wales.
  • 5+ years PQE with a focus on technology and commercial law since qualification.
  • Good academic qualifications in England and Wales or other common law jurisdiction.
