Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our specialist school in Cranborne, Dorset. The successful candidate will work with young people aged 11-16 who require additional support with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Purpose of the Role:

This role involves supporting teaching staff to deliver high-quality education and care to our students. The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching team to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting young people and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.

Please note that this role is term-time only and requires a 40-hour workweek.
