Job Title: Nights Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nights Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a reputable FMCG company in Wolverhampton. As a Nights Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance breakdown cover on automated fast-moving production machines and service and repair of various material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance breakdown cover on automated fast-moving production machines
  • Service and repair of various material handling equipment
  • Continuous improvement of electrical equipment, reliability, and performance
  • Day-to-day attention to electrical breakdowns and changeovers
  • Finding the root cause of any production problems and finding ways to prevent them from happening again
  • Electrical fault-finding, re-wiring, and panel inspection
  • Safe installation of machinery and control panels
  • Installation and service of material handling, machining, and process equipment
Requirements:
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production industry environment
  • Electrical ability essential, additional mechanical also required
  • Formal qualifications to NVQ, C&G, or ONC in electrical or mechanical discipline
  • Time served engineering apprenticeship advantageous
