Job Title: Theatre Operations Coordinator

Newmedica, a leading provider of NHS ophthalmology services, invites applications from skilled and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Theatre Operations Coordinator.

About the Role:

This part-time or full-time position is based at our Shrewsbury site, where you will work closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth patient journey through the theatre pathway.

As a Theatre Operations Coordinator, you will have an active role in training and developing your skills, with opportunities to progress into formal scrub training programs supported by Newmedica.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with patients and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Support theatre operations and contribute to patient care
  • Develop knowledge of eye physiology and treatment, with opportunities for continued learning and professional development
  • Utilize office software and other systems, such as patient record systems and diagnostic programs, with ease and confidence
