Machinery Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Platforms, the UK's leading specialist provider of Powered Access rental equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake routine and complex repairs to machines at depot, ensuring conformance with manufactures specification and company policy.
- Support the Workshop Service Manager in the effective running of the Depot workshop, maintaining manageable levels of machines under repair.
- Working with the depot team, minimize the quantity and amount of time machines are under repair, aligning with depot KPIs.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standards of customer care and politeness at all times, relaying queries to depot staff as needed.
- Accurately complete relevant paperwork using the Company's engineering system/application.
- Update the system on machine status changes, i.e., PDI/PHI carried out, Machine under repair, 6 monthly statutory Inspection completed, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety standards, and policies, serving as an ambassador for the company.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience. A competitive salary reflecting your value to the organization.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have/be:
- IPAF Operator Licence.
- Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience of completing complex engineering repairs.
- Mature outlook, prioritizing tasks, and working well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
- Ability to use basic functions of the operating system (L-Vis) to complete tasks relevant to the role.
- Ability to complete basic company administration processes in line with the role.
