About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Accuracy Checking Technician. As a key member of our dispensing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order and manage the supply of medicines, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing to patients.
  • Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed items, freeing up time for pharmacists to focus on additional services.
  • Oversee and support the dispensing team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Prepare, supply, and check prescriptions, providing advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Take medicine histories from patients, providing guidance on treatment options and referring complex queries to pharmacists as necessary.
  • Provide advice and coaching to patients and other team members on medicines and treatment options.
Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and recognized accuracy checking qualification.
  • Passion for patient and customer care, with a commitment to delivering high standards of service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Digital knowledge and comfort with navigating and embracing new technology.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
