About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a Sales Assistant, you will be at the forefront of our retail operation, delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our charity's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers, providing a first-class service experience and promoting our charity's mission
  • Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential
  • Collaborate with our E-Commerce team to drive online sales
  • As a Keyholder, you will be the go-to person when there isn't a manager on duty, ensuring the store runs smoothly and our customers have a great experience
What We're Looking For
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to our charity's mission
  • Previous retail experience is not essential, but a positive attitude and energy are a must
  • Confidence in a team environment and the ability to guide volunteers on the shop floor
  • Able to work well under pressure and on your own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail in everything you do
  • Positive, creative, confident, customer service-focused, and passionate about sustainability
  • Comfortable with technology and able to use a till, PC, smartphone, and email with ease
