Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to support a year 5 child with challenging behaviour in a mainstream school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised support plans, fostering positive relationships with students, and contributing to the school's overall learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement bespoke support strategies to address student needs
  • Build trust and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives aimed at promoting positive behaviour and attitudes towards learning

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £90-100 per day, plus a range of benefits including a £100 bonus referral system and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
