Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Housekeeping Specialist for Community Midwives at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be based in the community midwifery setting and will focus on key aspects of a housekeeping role, including liaising with KFM and NHS Supply Chain to ensure clinical stock is ordered and delivered to our main hub.

Main Duties of the Job


• Liaise with KFM and NHS Supply Chain to ensure clinical stock is ordered and delivered to our main hub.


• Liaise with community midwifery porter team to assist in delivering stock to our three hubs and children's centres.


• Order stock on a regular basis to ensure appropriate levels throughout the community areas.


• Maintain equipment log and database and communicate with midwives to ensure their equipment is regularly serviced and maintained in MEMS.
