About the Role

Cambian is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to lead our Children's Home in Halsham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a nurturing and supportive environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of our young residents
  • Ensure the home maintains high-quality care standards, in line with the Quality Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose
  • Address any complaints or child protection concerns in a timely and effective manner

Requirements and Experience

  • Relevant experience in residential care for children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
