Production Team Leader Job Description

Our client, a prestigious security company, is seeking a Production Team Leader to join their Leicester electronics manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing personnel in a high-volume production environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate targets and ensure team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and maintain seamless operations.
  • Monitor production standards and quality control measures to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Handle conflict resolution and perform problem-solving as necessary to resolve issues and improve team performance.
  • Support the training of new team members and ensure all team members are competent in their roles.
  • Implement and support continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure all manufacturing records are completed accurately and on time.
  • Escalate quality concerns to the relevant departments and ensure the escalation procedure is followed.
