Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be working in partnership with a leading Aerospace business based in the Sheffield area. We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the upkeep and cleaning of all gangways, ensuring any hazards are removed and the site is well-maintained to ensure compliance with customer commitments, health, and safety regulations.
- Support Operations in the removal of waste from Machines, such as sumps, and ensure the safe disposal of hazardous materials.
- Removal of spills and cleaning of leaks to prevent accidents and ensure the health and safety of employees.
- Cleaning of building exterior and pedestrian areas, ensuring areas are clear and hazard-free.
- Transportation of materials using the Company Fork Lift Truck, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of company and department policies and safety procedures.
- Reporting to work on time, following instructions from supervisors or management, interacting well with coworkers, understanding and following work rules and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned, requested, or needed, including assisting with Continuous Improvement (CI) duties such as painting machines, floors, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
- Fork lift Truck license is essential.
- Ensuring safe working systems and processes are in place.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Good attention to detail is necessary.
- Able to work flexibly, including shift patterns, and under own initiative.
