Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in surgical nursing? Would you like more time to care for your patients with an average patient ratio of 1-5?

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Inpatient Ward. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will deliver excellent care throughout the patient journey from admission to discharge.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, working 3 shifts per week between Monday and Sunday. Shift times will be 07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, and 23:00-07:00.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan and deliver care, based on individual patient needs.
  • Always demonstrate good clinical practice and be accountable for your own actions, working within the NMC code of conduct.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care.
  • Ensure that own professional development is maintained and enhanced.
Person Specification:
  • Be a qualified Adult Nurse with current NMC PIN.
  • Be able to evidence continuous professional development and its application.
  • Have a postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
  • Have experience in Surgical Nursing.
