IT Vendor Management Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Management Lead to join our Professional Services client in London on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of building their Vendor Management function from the ground up, including building a team over coming years.
As a Vendor Management Lead, you will focus on managing the entire vendor lifecycle from initial relationships, selection and contract negotiation to performance evaluation. You will also be responsible for Vendor compliance and risk as well as Vendor Audits.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in IT Vendor Management, with a strong background in Vendor Performance Monitoring, Vendor Selection and Evaluation, and Vendor Compliance and Risk. Strong negotiation skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation
- Conduct Vendor Audits and ensure Vendor compliance and risk management
- Develop and implement Vendor Management strategies
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office per week and some travel over the course of the year. The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
