This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of up to £58,000.

The role involves managing two residential homes simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The successful candidate will support adults working with young people to achieve the highest standards of care.

The key responsibilities of the Children's Home Manager include:

  • Managing two residential homes simultaneously
  • Supporting adults working with young people
  • Recruitment and induction of new employees
  • Contributing to a comprehensive team training and development programme
  • Liaising with internal and external multidisciplinary teams and commissioning authorities
  • Registering with the regulator and upholding requirements and conditions of registration

The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, or equivalent, and experience in a management capacity in a residential children's home. A full manual driving licence is also required.
