Sustainable Land Management Specialist

Forestry and Land Scotland covers Central Scotland, balancing traditional timber production with the maintenance of open ground, world-class visitor hotspots, renewable energy developments, and the management of designated sites and scheduled monuments.
The Planning & Environment Team works closely with other teams and specialists to design and shape our forests and land for future generations.
Key responsibilities include leading on planning land to meet place-specific objectives, programming and organizing work, and facilitating environmental objectives.
This role requires senior management collaboration and representation, as well as providing environmental expertise to inform land management planning and programming of future works on National Forests and Land.
A successful candidate will have strong experience in team management and stakeholder engagement, as well as a solid understanding of Forest Management, Conservation, or Land Management principles.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
