Support Worker for Young People

This is a unique opportunity to work with North Lakes Children's Services, a well-established local provider of residential care and education for boys aged 6-18. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the young people in our care.
Your main duties will include supporting the boys' daily routines, attending medical appointments, completing day sheets, and working with them on their targets. You will also be required to complete any food/other shopping needs, including meal preparation and kitchen hygiene/laundry duties.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, a flexible approach, and an understanding of the issues that face young people in care. You will also hold a relevant qualification, such as a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent, and be willing to undertake a DBS check.
As a member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £29,357.20 per annum, a sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, and a comprehensive training programme. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
