About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS practitioner to join our team in Tameside and Glossop. As a CAMHS practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families using evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families
  • Work collaboratively with a range of agencies to provide a comprehensive service to children and young people
  • Provide consultation, advice, and training to other professionals
  • Contribute to the development of the CAMHS transformation agenda
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of children and young people's mental health
  • Experience of using training, supervision, and consultation to support other professionals
  • Good understanding and commitment to the CAMHS transformation agenda
  • Values that align with Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and prioritize the needs of children and young people
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nurse - Mental Health, Social Work, or OT qualification with regulatory body registration
  • Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services
