Experienced Town Planner Opportunity

We are working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham, renowned for delivering innovative and impactful planning solutions across the UK.

About the Company: Our client is a well-established consultancy with a growing portfolio of diverse projects. They are seeking an enthusiastic Town Planner to join their friendly and supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a wide range of projects including developments, strategic land, and local plan promotion.
  • Assist in delivering planning applications, appeals, and strategic land projects.
  • Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site assessments, planning research, and provide guidance on planning policies.
  • Engage with local authorities, landowners, and clients to advise on planning strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years' experience as a Town Planner, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • Proven experience in managing planning applications, development projects, and strategic land.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage client relationships.
  • RTPI membership or working towards it.
