Design Management Opportunity:

Gró Careers is seeking an ambitious architect to transition into a Design Management role, leading iconic architectural projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process, coordinating and managing external consultants to ensure every element aligns with the project's goals.
  • Develop and manage design programmes, tracking progress and adapting plans to meet evolving project needs.
  • Assist in drafting comprehensive appointment documents, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and appointing specialist consultants for unique design elements.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, from key milestones to potential risks, ensuring the architecture team and stakeholders are fully informed at every stage.
  • Oversee the change control process, handling design variations, consultant queries, and ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and coordination experience, managing large teams of external consultants to ensure project goals are met with precision.
  • Expertise in developing and managing design programmes, tracking progress and adapting plans to meet evolving project needs.
  • Contractual understanding, including managing scope, appointing sub-consultants, and handling variations.
  • High-value project exposure, with a background in managing complex, high-pressure projects, and international project experience highly desirable.
  • Team leadership experience, managing resources, delegating responsibilities, and driving progress on key deliverables.
