Job Summary
The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Physician Associate to join our Emergency Medicine department at North Devon District Hospital. As a Physician Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our consultants and registrars.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist consultants and registrars in the provision of patient care and support.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, as well as implementing crisis interventions and medications.
- Participate in all aspects of the care pathway, performing delegated duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge.
- Support other services as needed for patient flow and contribute to decision-making for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Work flexibly, including a shift pattern, as part of a wider clinical team.
