Job Description

The role of a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus involves conducting thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. This position requires clinical expertise and the ability to work with complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will use your knowledge and experience to develop detailed reports that help determine a person's eligibility for benefits. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable using computer software to produce detailed reports.

The salary for this position is £37,800 per annum, and working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Flexible working options are available, including full-time, part-time, and hybrid arrangements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
