About the Job:

We are currently seeking a Facilities Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all building services aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet client specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all building services engineering aspects for multiple projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement integrated building services solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits to assess performance and quality.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks related to building services, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise during construction.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of building services installations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building services management within the construction industry, with a focus on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building services design, installation, and maintenance processes, as well as relevant codes and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
