**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Body Technician to join our team at Northampton Business Directory.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in panel repair and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully restore vehicles to their original condition by finishing repairs to match bodywork or preparing surfaces for paint sprayers.
  • Mend rusted parts of vehicle bodywork, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Replace panels and repair body alignment to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform various welding tasks, including ARC, MIG, TIG, and bonding, as well as panel beating for major or minor damage.
  • Conduct jig work, filler work, and pin pulling with precision and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Panel Beating or equivalent experience.
  • A valid driving license is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience working in an accident repair centre is highly desirable.

Salary: £15 - £18 per hour, with a monthly bonus of £600 - £1000 for working Monday – Friday, 45 hours a week.
