Authorisation Officer

We are seeking an experienced Authorisation Officer to join our team at ACCA. As an Authorisation Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our practising certificate process.
Key Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for undertaking assessment work, specifically to review member eligibility to hold a non-audit practising certificate.
Assess practising certificate experience forms, ensuring members have completed the necessary requirements and the training records in line with ACCA procedures and policies.
Ensure work in progress (WIP) tracker is always kept up to date, to ensure visibility of all pending work.
Ensure accurate processing of annual renewals of practising certificates with financial payments.
Ensure the highest quality of customer service is always provided, answering emails, correspondence and telephone calls from members providing excellent technical knowledge of matters relating to public practice.
Requirements
Able to demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge, sound judgement and initiative within complex situations and make appropriate and measured decisions.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels.
Highly organised, logical, and methodical approach to work with very strong analytical skills and with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Able to multi-task and experience of dealing with a high workload and working to tight deadlines with competing priorities, whilst being able to remain calm under pressure.
I.T literate with fast and accurate data inputting skills and a sound knowledge of MS Office and ideally with experience of working with Oracle databases.
